Our History
Valley Insurance Agency was established in 1978 by Gordon Hard and initially located in Batavia, Illinois. We eventually relocated our offices to downtown Geneva in 1985 and moved to our current location in 1989.
For over 30 years, Valley Insurance has provided a variety of insurance products and services, along with experienced, knowledgeable personnel, dedicated to assisting you in protecting your assets and liabilities.
Valley Insurance is committed to building close client relationships for the long term. We value the trust and confidence that we have established with our clients. As we celebrate our 30th anniversary in the insurance industry, we look forward to providing quality insurance at the best and equitable pricing, for many years to come.

We also believe in having a strong affiliation with the surrounding community. We have been a member of The Geneva Chamber of Commerce since 1985and Gordon Hard was Past President from 1988-1998. Gordon has also been a member of Geneva Rotary Club since 1985 and is the President elect for 2008-09. And as an Independent Agency we are also a member of PIIAI.

Gordon Hard, President

Gordon started his insurance career with The First Insurance Company of Hawaii in 1970. He transferred to their parent company, Great American Insurance (Chicago branch) in 1973, with underwriting and marketing responsibilities. He is Past President of the Geneva Chamber of Commerce (1988-1998) and is currently on the Executive Board. Gordon is a member of Geneva Rotary Club (since 1985) and is President Elect for the 08/09 term.

Kathleen joined Valley Insurance Agency in 1996 and assumed responsibilities as Office Manager / IT. She also oversees the Agency Accounting Department. |

Bonnie Allison, Commercial Customer Service Rep

Bonnie has been employed as a Customer Service Agent with Valley Insurance Agency for over 25 years. Bonnies' responsibilities include marketing and service for commercial accounts. |

Karen Nobles, Personal Lines Customer Service Rep

Karen joined Valley Insurance Agency in 1998 as a Customer Service Agent for personal lines. She has attended numerous personal insurance programs and has earned the C.I.S.R. degree from the Society of Certified Insurance Representatives in 2002.

Jeanne Stevens, Personal Lines Customer Service Rep

Jeanne joined Valley Insurnace Agency in 2003 and assumed the responsibility of Customer Service Agent in the personal lines department. Jeanne was previously the Personal Lines Manager for Liberty Mutual Group from 1975-2002.
